Joe Monzo signed his lease in January 2020—less than a week before the world shut down. While uncertainty closed doors across Cape May County, Joe, his soon-to-be wife Skylar, brother-in-law Tom, and a determined crew took the 120-year-old building on historic Mechanic's Row down to the studs. Six months of renovation later, CoHo Cafe emerged as the fresh, inviting space the community needed. Joe's 10+ years working Cape May and Wildwood's best kitchens shaped a menu of unique bagel sandwiches, avocado toasts, wraps, and salads that prove breakfast and lunch deserve serious attention. Strong coffee fuels the business district crowd six days a week, while outstanding service and genuinely fresh ingredients keep locals coming back. Born from perseverance during the pandemic's darkest days, CoHo represents what happens when talent, timing, and sheer determination create something worth waiting for.
